AA Battery

An AA battery is a standard cylindrical single-cell battery with diameter 14.5 mm and length 50.5 mm. Commonly used in consumer electronic devices, the AA battery may be primary (single-use) or secondary (multi-use). AA batteries are manufactured with many different chemical compositions, some of which include zinc-carbon, zinc-chloride, nickel-cadmium, and lithium-ion. The voltage of the battery depends on the chemistry but is usually either 1.5 V or 1.2 V.
